OFSL Quarterly Lecture Series

The Ogden Family Search Library is pleased to announce that Ted M. Bair will speak at the Quarterly Lecture Series on July 21, 2018. The subject of his talk will be Early Missionary Work: The Foundation of Today's Missionary Department. He is currently writing a book on the subject.
Ted was born and raised in Garland, Utah. He served a mission in Eastern Atlantic States, centered in Washington, D.C. He and his wife also served as Mission Presidents in the North Carolina Charlotte Mission. They also conducted church history tours.
Ted received a B.S. Degree in Physics, an M.S. Degree in Science Education and a Ph.D. Degree in Sociology of the Family, all from Utah State University.
He taught high school in California, seminary in Salt Lake City, supervised seminaries and institutes in New England. He managed Church Education System international HR in Salt Lake City, and also taught institute at USU, Salt Lake Community College, Weber and Cal State Berkeley.
Ted currently works as a Clearance Analyst in the Missionary Department and teaches an adult institute class at Weber High School Seminary.
Ted and his wife Pat have three sons and a daughter. They have 18 grandchildren.
